Maybe it is because it is (literally freezing outside) or maybe it is because Thanksgiving is late this year, but it seems like it should be December already! We are excited for a little Thanksgiving break and a visit from Mamaw and Papaw!
This week was the book fair at Mattie school and of course, she came home with a list of books she wanted to purchase. Wednesday, I ate lunch with her and let her pick out a book with her very own money. She picked out a My Little Pony book - I'm sure it will help her SAT scores down the road ;)

On Friday, Benny was Mama's big helper. We took our first trip to Dallas' Trader Joe's where the have kid sized carts. Can you tell he was excited???
After a lunch break at Chick Fil A, we hit up Kohl's to check out sheets. I turned around and look what I found??? What a nerd! It was also shortly after this that I realized Ben had wet his pants. OOPS!
It has been SO cold here since Friday and I have been a little under the weather too. Yesterday the kids and I stayed in our pjs all day. We all played, watched movies, took naps . . . it was the perfect lazy and cold Saturday (minus the slight fever and sneezing on my account).
We made church this morning and Sissy and I will be headed to Brookshire in a bit. They are saying it may sleet or snow tonight so we are on the lookout!
Sissy and Ben really like to play together a lot now (when they aren't fighting of course). Ben does exactly each and every thing that Mattie does!
