I cannot believe it is November! But yesterday was for sure Halloween, so I guess it is :)
We had such a fun Halloween! Mattie had a big day at school with a costume parade (attended by Daddy) and a class party (attended by Mama).
Daddy got home from work at a good time, and after a few false starts we headed outside to hang with our neighbors and friends. We have so many sweet neighbors and so many of Mattie's school friends are in the neighborhood - it made Halloween a real treat this year. It was really the first time we have stayed home and not gone elsewhere to trick or treat with friends and I'm so glad we stayed.

Ben loved trick or treating this year . . . or really getting candy. I have no idea how much candy he ate last night, but he was a real trooper running after the big kids and going up to each and every door.
