Before Ben's surgery, we had some fun last week! We celebrated my 35th (REALLY?!?!) birthday with a family dinner at Tony's.
Ben was doing his best to impersonate a knife wielding murderer. Ha!
Mattie has heard Mimi tell the story about how she once ordered a marble cake for a birthday and when she picked it up, it said "Happy Birthday Marble." So she insisted that her and Daddy make me a "surprise" marble cake. HA! This girl is a hoot.
We also had a fabulous visit with Meg and her three kiddos (well, baby four is still in her tummy). We took them to do some of our favorite Dallas things, including the trolley of course.
Mattie and Liam had quite the crush on each other I think :)
