Mama and the munchkins!

Me and my munchkins were on our own for a bit while Daddy was out of town this week/weekend. Our sweet Nanny had surgery and Matt went to be with her and the family. We are so thankful that she is home recovering as of this afternoon!
Thursday, I let them pick some of their favorite things to do . . . well of course Ben wanted to ride the trolley and Mattie wanted to eat breakfast out - win win!
Breakfast at Starbucks and
Trolley!
We hit the Children's Museum as well, and while we were there, watched a short 3D film about the monarch butterfly. Mattie was tickled that she had on her butterfly dress for the movie! Ben refused to wear his glasses and mostly talked to me the whole time, so I was glad it was only 25 minutes!
I loved this picture of then waiting for the return trolley. They were "chewing grass like farmers."
Friday we did some major errand work, that included school uniform and shoe shopping. Chick Fil A for lunch made everyone happier!
This guy :)
Mattie had her first friend sleepover on Friday night - Ada-Grace spent the night with us! The girls did great and had a fun time. I had set my alarm for 5:45 Saturday morning to get up and do some things before the kids were up. However, when I got up to start the day, I could hear those girls giggling up a storm! Stinkers!
And we finally got Ben's "big boy room" all set. He is pretty pleased!
Mama enjoyed her quiet work at home day today!!!
