Well, we are still surviving over here! Benny has good moments and some awful ones - that aren't just his typical three year old moments ;)
Monday, Sissy went to school and he and I spent most of the day on the couch together. He went and found a teacup and had "coffee" with me!
Yesterday was Day 4, and Mattie was running a low fever and had to stay home from school. We decided to break out of the house and walk the mall (well I walked) and have lunch. One can only stay on the couch for so long. My hardest challenge, besides getting Ben to take his medicine, is getting him to eat and drink. He assured me he wanted to eat some Chick Fil A, so we gave it a go.
He ate a few french fries and drank some chocolate milk. Small victory. He is still feeling crummy off and on . . . the closer it is gets to medicine time, the more grumpy he is. One minute he might seem totally fine and the next minute he is crying and holding his throat.
Mattie stayed home again today, so we took her to get a hair cut.
