Mattie is at an age and verbal level where she just cracks us up all the time with the things she comes out with. Here are a few of her gems from the last few days.
The other night, she had bumped her head on the corner of her changing table before we were getting ready to go outside. Once we got outside she ran to the scarecrow and held his hand and said, "I hit my head on my changing table, Mr. Scarecrow."
A few minutes later she came over to me for a "break" and said "Mama, I'm going poo poos." And then, (30 seconds later)"Mr. Scarecrow has to go poo poos like me."
I was cleaning up the kitchen the other night and she started yelling "The witch is coming, the witch is coming! She is going to put me in the high tower!" This is totally from a Dora episode, but I love it.
And then when I was walking over towards her the other day she held her hand out and said, "Mama, don't come into my forest." Um ,okay.
Here is my precious before school putting a band aid on her sock.
And cooking some breakfast!
