Although Sissy may like to get out and throw the baseball with her Daddy and play in the dirt with Jacob, I think she is going to be a girly girl at heart. She is SO obsessed with all things princesses right now, especially Beauty and the Beast. We read her Beauty and the Beast book every night before bed and often multiple times during the day. She has the CD with Beauty and the Beast songs that she plays (and wants me to dance to with her) all the time. I seriously go to bed with "Be Our Guest" in my head. She loves to wear and twirl in her "princess dresses," which is really any dress, and to dress up in her princess gear. See exhibit A below. She will pretend to be Belle and I am Cinderella. It is really sweet though . . . the other day I picked her up from school and asked if she wanted to go to the park and she said, no I want to go home and dance with you to a beautiful love song. HA! On a different note, I don't even want to talk about how old she looks in this picture. So I won't talk about it, I'll just sit here and stare and it and wipe the tear away. Sniff!
I think Sissy is also going to be a reading nerd like her Mama though! I took her and Bubba to the aquarium this week and what did Sissy spy in the gift shop??? Curious George goes to the Aquarium. We had to not only have it, but read it right on the spot. And then stop multiple times and read it again. She pretty much lost interest in the actual aquarium after she got the book. She is a pretty cute nerd though!

The story about Mattie wanting to dance with you to a beautiful love song....wow, that is too sweet. She does think she lives in a fairyland, I think. Ver precious.
