Pinkalicious

This week flew by, so my apologies for such a long stretch, to all six of our loyal readers! The last week just kind of flew by, and I didn't really take any pictures or have anything too newsworthy to post I guess.  This is a random Mattie story . . . her school had their annual trike safety and "trike-a-thon" this past week, and on the last day they get to all take their trikes and ride a course. After being shamed last year by not having a helmet for her (one of the key components of trike safety), we hiked to Target to pick one out - a princess one of course. So the school sent three questions about trike safety they should be able to answer.
Q: Where should you ride your trike? Mattie: One the sidewalk!
Q: Should you ride behind you parent's car? Mattie: NO!
Q: What should you always wear when riding your trike? Mattie: A DRESS!
Sigh . . . .So glad we went out and bought that $20 helmet!

Matt was gone on a little guy's trip this weekend, and I was just kind of too busy or lazy to take many pictures.  Ben was kind of grumpy and woke up possibly with pink eye or congestion or some combination so we had to stay in from church today. . . but Mattie and I were already thinking pink!

We scored an invite to go see Pinkalicious the Musical today.
Thanks to Paige and Caroline for the invitation!
For those of you without a 2-6 year-old girl, Pinkalicious is a character with a book series who eats too may pink cupcakes and turns pink. She obviously loves pink quite a bit. The show was not Les Mis on Broadway, but Sissy was enthralled, so that's all that matters! We even went for ice cream afterwards.  It was a lovely day with my girl!

I am sure she LOVED the frilly pink dress more than anything. One question - does it twirl??? Glad you girls had matching pink outfits. Makes the outing totally complete; )
