Who invented daylight savings time anyways?

Wow, daylight savings time is rough. I am totally falling asleep right now at 9:23. This post may not even be coherent because I can barely stay awake to read it.  I started feeling ready for bed about 7 I think. Thankfully the kids slept in pretty well this morning, all considering. Hope tomorrow will be as smooth!

We had a wonderful weekend - Matt got to stay home with us on Friday, so we started feeling fun on Thursday night! It was great to have the whole family off for three days after such a busy week. The weekend was just about as busy as the week though . . . such is life!

My sweet Benny Boo (we finally got some cold weather - down in the 30s at night!)!
Friday morning, Sissy and I had a girls day at the salon. She got her hair cut, while I got my hair "painted" as she called it. Then she watched a movie while I got my hair cut. I had Matt on standby to come pick her up in case she started melting down, but she did really well.
On Friday afternoon, we drove down to Waco for Baylor homecoming. Except, we didn't really do much homecoming or see too many people this year - we just didn't schedule enough time! But we did get to stay at Libby's house, which Mattie loved. She was just happy as a clam playing there with Libby (Yibby!). We went to the parade Saturday morning, where Mattie chowed down on donuts and complained about being cold. Ben fell asleep at the parade and I got to snuggle him - it was so nice.
Matt and Mattie with the Clements fam :)
After the parade, we hung out for a bit longer, then made a quick stop in to the Watwood household, but it was way too quick of a trip overall! We had to be back this morning so that Sissy could sign with the Cherubs in church.

Mattie has been a little shy in her performances, which is surprising to me, but she still sings sweetly. Of course my memory card beeped full before their song was over. . . .

This is random - but I wanted to show just how crazy Ben goes is his bouncer. He L.O.V.E.S it.  I am not sure this video does it justice.
