Hi Friends! Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend! I started this post yesterday and never got around to finishing it! Being at home with these two leaves little time for any task that requires concentration :) I don't have a theme or any major news for this post - just some pics and videos of life this week.
I can't remember if I have mentioned this on the blog, but Sissy really does not ever nap at home anymore. So what I have started doing is sending her to her room for "quiet time" for about the first hour of Ben's naptime, then I get her out and we do an activity just the two of us during the second hour, like crafts or reading . . . something difficult to do when he is around. It is working out really well for both of us I think!
My little Boo is ON THE MOVE! He is getting much more coordinated and skilled.
Dop/Pick up is his new favorite game! I think they played this in the high chair for probably at least ten minutes the other night? Mattie loved it too, which was nice because I was able to get the whole kitchen cleaned up while they played!
Check out this nerdy girl! On Sunday during Ben's nap time, we went to the park with some friends. Mattie took her bike and was really seeming to enjoy it for the first time - which was huge! THe funny thing was the girls wouldn't take their helmets off when they played, so they were running around the playground with their big 'ole helmets on. And THEN wanting to swing in the baby swing with them!
