Popi flew into town on Thursday last week to do some work and to see his grandbabies for a little bit too :) Mattie enjoyed taking him to TONY'S (of course)!
I don't have really any other pictures or details about the weekend, because Mama was in retreat mode. That's right, on the LHUMC women's retreat all weekend, and it. was. fabulous. It is so hard to describe how amazing it is to be around women of all ages and talk about God and marriage and kids and life and running and all kinds of stuff - for a whole weekend. And worshipping with 75 women in a setting like that is something I have never experienced before my first retreat two years ago. My church family has the most incredible women . . .I feel so lucky to be able to gain from so many other's wisdom and guidance.
Yesterday was a little shock to the system (we stayed up pretty late both nights over the weekend), and I fell asleep on the couch at 8:45. Tonight I took Sister to swim lessons - she is maybe improving slightly . . .maybe. Check out that tongue at work!
Their class got to go down the big slide tonight for the first time - a special treat!
And THANK GOODNESS tomorrow is work at home Wednesday!!!
