There's no business like show business

Sissy had a BIG surprise on Saturday . . . we got to go see the princesses ice skate! (a.k.a. Disney on Ice)  Mattie was THRILLED. She was quiet and wide-eyed pretty much the whole show.
A couple of friends and I got tickets way back in November for the show, and we had amazing seats.
This is no zooming in, this is how close we were - row two!
For the grand finale, ALL of the princes and princesses came out in wedding-type dresses.  Heaven for one little girl!
Today was also awesome, because our very own MATT VIETTI was JESUS :)  Daddy led the children in the Palm Sunday processional.
Mattie was proud!  (Remember this dress?)
This afternoon was the big choir production - O, Jonah - at church.  All of the choirs, ages 3-6th grade participate. (At differing levels of course)  This was the opener by the Cherubs.
So Mattie wore her beads on the stage for the opener that they were supposed to wear in a later number. And she literally got tangled up in them during the second verse of O, Jonah. I can't believe I didn't video it. You can see her here in this picture, trying not to strangle herself. It was a definite wardrobe malfunction.
The whole cast at the end of the show!
