Can we just take a minute to talk about this precious boy? (And excuse the fact that he seems to always be wearing a Halloween bib?) This boy has my heart! He is such a sweet, happy boy with his huge smiles and nerdy laughs! He charms people wherever we go. At dinner last night at church, he had all the ladies (and a few men too) giving him all the lovin' and attention, and he was eating it up!
Ben gives the best hugs. He puts his arms tight around your neck and lays his head on your shoulder. Especially first thing in the morning, he likes to "hug up" for about three minutes and it is heaven. My favorite time of day right now is his bedtime. Most nights, we go to his room and look at a few books, and then have cuddle and talk time. He will alternate between cuddling with me and hugging me tight, to leaning back to laugh and smile, or grab my nose or something like that. It is priceless, especially now that he is so busy most of the time!
Boo got moved up to the toddler room this week at school because he is zooming around so fast. When I said goodbye to his "baby room" teacher Ms. Jane last week, she gave me a hug and I got all teary eyed when she said, "I sure am going to miss those tight hugs from Ben every morning."
How can you resist this???
The last few days, Ben has been something of a Daddy's boy. Maybe it is because they look EXACTLY alike???
