We are really delighting in watching Mattie and Ben start to play together and have a sibling relationship! Every night after dinner, they go on "walks," holding hands around our house. He wants to do whatever she is doing, and she enjoys having him be a participant in the shows she puts on and things along those lines. Of course, knowing that he wants everything she has and vice versa means lots of drama and tears. But that is to be expected I suppose!
For example, last week at Target, the bakery offered Mattie a free cookie. So I let her have one. Ben had a snack cup with cheerios and I honestly thought he would be fine or not notice. He pitched a ROYAL SCREAMING FIT until I went back and got him a cookie too! And he ate every bite of that chocolate chip cookie - his first.
Mattie loves to have Ben sit in her lap. It usually doesn't last long, but here she was reading to him.

Of course, they are each doing their own mischievious antics on their own. Mattie is doing this new thing where she tries her hardest not to smile. Exhibit A:
And Ben is into climbing on top of things! We keep catching him either trying to climb up to the sink, or into the bathtub, or standing up on the ottoman, etc. etc.
Sure do love my stinkers!
