Boo to You!

Happy Weekend! I thankfully made it home Thursday night after an action packed week in DC. It is a fun city to be in for sure, but I was so glad to be home! After some good snuggles with the babes Friday morning, we had to get moving . . . . for one of my new favorite traditions, Reverse Trick or Treating! Sarah started this great idea three years ago, where we dress the kids up and take them to a nursing home to pass out candy to the residents. We had a big group this year, but here are a few of our babies dressed up and ready to make the rounds :)
Flynn Rider and his princess Rapunzel (who refused to wear her long hair or her crown).
The nursing home was not the best place to get pictures, so I am hoping to get some better costume pictures when they dress up Sunday for Trunk or Treat. Stay tuned!
Honestly, this year was a little hard for reverse trick or treating, because Flynn Rider mostly wanted to sprint away from his Mama down the hall, or alternately, lay down on the floor and roll around (gross). But he did bring some joy to the residents, who thought he was pretty cute!
Sissy was very sweet and did a good job delivering candy.
We have a busy Saturday with family pictures this morning, and Matt and I get a date night tonight to attend a wedding. The weather is cool (40 degrees right now!) and finally feels like fall, so I hope to get lots of outside playtime in for the kids too. Have a great day everyone!
