Disney Day 4

Saturday was an action packed day at Disney! We had an early breakfast IN THE CASTLE with the princesses. Mattie insisted on wearing her Aurora dress, and she wore it all day. And it was hot folks, I'm telling you. Anywho, we got in the park early because of the breakfast and were able to take some pics before it got too crowded with the common folk who weren't attending breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table. Isn't it just fun looking at that castle???

Breakfast was delish. I had cream cheese stuffed french toast with chocolate ganache and fresh fruit. There were multiple princesses there, but this was my favorite picture of the day. Aurora told Mattie that Prince Phillip would be so confused if he came in, because he wouldn't know who the real Aurora was!
Mattie the Bacon Bandit was eating bacon off Mimi's plate when Belle walked up to the table. She threw that bacon down on the floor and jumped up to hug Belle. Nope, not kidding. And no kidding that she sure did eat it after Belle was gone too!
Our last princess meeting was crossed off the list after riding a few rides - Merida, the newest Disney princess.
Mattie also got to shoot her bow and arrow, which she thought was pretty cool.
A little dancing with Chip and Dale anyone?
I literally had to drag Mattie kicking and screaming out of the park for rest time on Saturday, but it was essential for sure. I told her we could pick two of her favorite rides to do again after we got back to the park. She picked the Haunted Mansion and Winnie the Pooh. We also squeezed in Dumbo one last time!
We got smart and got dinner to go Saturday night so we could picnic on a front row spot for the parade.
Some of the Disney staff brought out hula hoops for the kids who were waiting, and also arranged for some games of duck duck goose. They are awesome!
The parade was so so so so fun on the front row. Mattie was beside herself yelling at every character that went by - CINDERELLY! PINOCCHIO! DOPEY! Even I was waving like a fool at Minnie and Mickey. After catching the fireworks one last time with some cotton candy, we left the Magic Kingdom for the last time of our trip. TEAR!
