Well, somehow Happy New Year turned into Happy Mid-January! I blame my cold. My brain was seriously overtaken by snot for two weeks, and I spent approximately four hours per day blowing my nose, so that left little time for taking pictures or blogging.
Finally towards the end of this week I started feeling better - thanks goodness! I was determined not to be in "barely surviving" mode for a third weekend in a row. Friday night, Matt and I had a super fun date out with a group of friends for bowling, yes bowling! There is a really cute, new place near our house is kind of a modern bowling. We had a good time with friends, and I totally dominated by bowling a 49. Yes, for the whole game, why do you ask? That PE credit I got taking bowling at Baylor really paid off, no?
Saturday was an absolutely wonderful lazy, rainy Saturday. We actually had not one thing "to do" and it rained all day. So we all hung in our pjs, read books, played, napped, and all of that glorious stuff. Saturday night, Matt and Sissy had a date to the Mavs game! One of our good friends works for the Mavs and hosted a suite that these two were lucky enough to join. Sissy had a really good time, and work me up when she got home at 11 pm to tell me about how she got to play hide and seek with her friends in the suite.

Thursday night I was giving the two munchkins a bath. Ben was done and was sitting in my lap by the tub while Mattie played. Mattie says, Mom can you and Ben please leave? I need to do my mermaid moves.
