Have I told ya'll how much Mattie loves Jacob? And how amazing they play together . . . which means lots of visiting time for me and Jacob's mama??? This picture is actually from a few Fridays ago, and I forgot to post it. I asked Mattie at the end of the weekend what the best part of the weekend had been, and she said "climbing the tree with Jacob." I should add that they are wearing helmets from riding bikes. Sarah and I are not crazy moms that make our kids wear helmets to climb trees!
For some reason Mattie has been HIGH drama the last week. She has been pouty and dramatic and throwing things and . . . yikes, what will happen when she is 14?!? She is such a funny girl though, even when she is being crazy dramatic she cracks me up. Here is her quote of the week:
Last Saturday she helped me make a casserole to take to a young couple in our Sunday School class that just had a baby, and went with me to drop off the meal. After we got in the car, she said "Mama, what is that word you call someone who is married to a wife?" I said, husband? And she said, "Yes, that husband sure was handsome." HA
Ben is getting tubes put in his ears tomorrow morning, so I will post an update on that as soon as possible!
