Yesterday was Matt's THIRTY THIRD birthday! Gosh he is old. Oh wait, we are the same age. We were talking about getting older the other night, and I was telling Matt how I constantly forget how old I am not. I really usually tell people 32, and it isn't a lie on purpose, I just forget. Matt was sweet enough to point out that on my next birthday I will be 34, which according to him is definitely mid-thirties and no longer early thirties. Well there is always something to look forward to with every birthday I guess . . . .
Although Matt had to work yesterday (I really believe that everyone should get a free mandatory vacation day on their birthdays.) we were able to celebrate with a family dinner at Tony's. We had a HUGE celebration when we got home too ;) Mattie insisted that we have party hats and "blowers" and cake and the whole nine.
Nothing but the best for our Daddy! (Can you guess who picked out the Valentine's Day cake with heart rings on it????)
