We had a SUPER visit with Mamaw and Papaw this past week. How lucky are my kids that their great-grandparents not only fly to spend a week with them in Texas, but keep them on their own for the day while Mama and Daddy go to work!

We had a relaxing Sunday doing church activities, napping, and grilling out. Memorial Day was fun! We took the kids to the pool in the morning (opening weekend), but it was cold! Mattie still swam like crazy for three hours, but Ben was not a happy camper.
Monday evening, just the girls went to the annual concert and fireworks at Flagpole Hill near our house. Matt decided that he would rather put Ben to bed and watch an old war movie with Papaw rather than chase Ben around all night in a big crown in the dark. Smart man I married!
Us girls had a good ole time! Sissy loves her some fireworks and loves getting to stay out way past her bedtime!
We ended the visit Tuesday evening with pizza and movie night, we watched Pollyanna for the first time. I totally got teary-eyed and then Mattie asked if we could watch the part where Pollyanna fell and got hurt again. HA!
