Well folks, guess it is time for my weekly recap, since I didn't manage any posts last week! Last week started off beautiful and busy . . .with fun activities every evening outside to soak in this nice spring weather before it gets too hot. And we sure didn't have to worry about it being to hot starting Thursday, when we got a SUPER COLD FREEZING COLD front and rain, just in time for our weekend. Which was a total bummer because we were drove down to Georgetown Thursday night and were hoping to get in this beautiful pool!
The kids managed to have a good time and get thoroughly soaked without actually getting in the pool on Saturday morning, even though it was like 50 degrees. And since this is Texas, it was about 85 degrees by afternoon, and the kids did get in a splash around a bit.
Mattie was in heaven because she spent Friday night with her cousin Lilly!
We all had a great weekend just enjoying being with Nanny and Pops and the cousins. We ate, drank and were merry!

The boys are just starting to feel each other out - but I think they will be fast friends in another year or so.
We got to make a quick stop in Waco yesterday afternoon to see our sweet friends the Watwoods. No pictures were taken, but with five kids running around, we were lucky just to get in some conversation! Man we love those peeps.
We arrived home last night with two TIRED kids (and Mama and Daddy may have been a little tired too). Early bedtimes for the kids and vegging on the couch for us was the way to end a fun weekend. And. . . . now it is Monday. Oh well!
