Ben is four months old today . . .where does the time go? It obviously has gone though . . . no more newborn/infant . . . look at this sweet smiley baby boy! He is still just as easygoing and sweet as ever. I am praying this will make for an easy transition into daycare. We are starting him with half days on Monday. He already knows his teachers, as he has gone up with me everyday to pick Mattie up and one of them babysits for us, so we think everything will be great!

He is getting so strong - he is rolling from tummy to back, and is really close to rolling from back to tummy.
He is totally trying to be a thumb sucker! He has figured out how to get that thumb in . . .I keep taking it out and putting in the paci, but I don't know how successful my attempts are going to be. Check him out trying to suck around that paci!
He loves looking in mirrors and at fans, and will talk and laugh at them like crazy. He also will laugh outloud when I tickle his legs or make him dance.
He is doing really good in the "big boy" carseat. We moved him out of the infant seat about a month ago and he is really happy in the new one. He can look around and he talks and talks to himself in the mirror I have on the back of the seat. Car rides are MUCH better.
We put him in the exersaucer for the first time last week. His head strength is so good, and he loved it!
Here is a little video of Ben showing off his rolling skills!
As thrilled as I am that Ben is thriving and growing and getting strong, it is all slightly bittersweet. We don't think we will have any more babies, so it is likely that I will never have a tiny little newborn who cuddles and sleeps with me whenever I want. I have already packed up all of his 0-3 month clothes, and we are getting close to needing to pack up some of the baby stuff, like the swing. But the good news is that they get more and more fun (for the most part) and I am so thankful that he is happy and healthy!!!
