Everyone, this is Ben

After that last rambling post about our traveling to Mimi and Popi's, I am sure ALL of my hundreds of readers have been on pins and needles waiting to see what we did there!

Our trip to Mimi and Popi's was Ben's first time to meet my Mamaw, Papaw and Aunt Sherry. Not sure who was most excited about this ;) Ben is just the sweetest little lump of sugar!!! (If I do say so myself.) I got pictures of him meeting everyone, but apparently the ones I took of him and Aunt Sherry were not with my camera. (Warning, picture overload coming!)

Of course Mimi and Popi had met Ben, but they were the first ones we saw. . . .

I don't think Mattie has ever had such an action-packed week! The park almost every day, bubbles and slip-n-slides in the backyard, and all kinds of adventures that Mimi had planned. It was SO nice for us to be able to be outside with her all week! The weather was ahhhhmazing.

Sissy loves her strawberries. She eats them for breakfast every morning and before bed every night. She got to go to an actual strawberry farm and pick her own!
Getting some coaching on berry selection from Aunt Sherry.

Playing at the park after going on a paddleboat with Mimi and Aunt Sherry.
Sweet Benny Boy spent a lot of time either being snuggled or chillin' on Mama's old baby quilt.
Love that face!!!
We went over to Detroit for some sight seeing with Uncle Aaron, and Sissy wound up conducting at the Hard Rock with Popi! It was super cute. She was obviously having a great time.
I was very thankful to have Mimi with me on the way home! Especially after our "scene" at the airport. You know when everyone in an entire place turns to stare at the toddler throwing a tantrum? Yeah, that was us. Mattie was so good all week, she just had to get one fit out during the trip and it was at the airport. Fun! Oh and Ben had a blowout on the plane - double fun! YAY for Mimi!!! We made it home safe and sound and are having a great weekend!
