What I wouldn't give to spend more time with this ring-tail tooter Sissy and my sweet boy Ben!

Nope, I didn't quit my job, but I have negotiated to work only 36 hours (4, 9-hour days) a week. Which means my schedule is working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in the office, Wednesdays working from home and Fridays off with these rascals! I can't tell you what a huge difference this is already making in my life - my stress level is amazingly low and my attitude is so much better. It's only three days in the office, three mornings away from the kids, and three days driving downtown and lugging all my gear and pump into the office. Even though I don't have the kids home with me on Wednesdays, it is still much more relaxing to be working at home and not up and out the door at the crack of dawn. I am not dreading the workweek as much as I used to. To me, it is just a perfect set up!

This weekend we did a lot of nothing, which is great for the family! Sissy (a.k.a. Snow White) was helping me "clean." She has always loved to clean those floors - lol! Check out this fun flashback!
And Ben is practicing his superman pose all the time. My smiley happy boy!

We had a blast going to the Kaycee Pool (which we will hopefully get a membership to next year) with a bunch of our church friends tonight. Sissy LOVES this waterslide . . .I think maybe I posted in a previous post about how she goes down it and yells AGAIN as soon as she comes up for air. I tried to get a video of her going down it, but I was also holding Ben and looking into the sun, so it was mostly just the side of the slide and her head went by once. Oh well. You might can make out her pink floaties up there at the top with all of her buddies from church. I love it :) I still cannot believe that the very first time we went, she just marched right up the steps with her little friend Avery and went down the slide without a second thought. That's my girl!
