Big Girl Bed

Is it normal to just want to press the pause button on life? I have had the best two weeks with my sweet Sissy girl and I just can't believe how fast she is growing up. It has been so special to spend every day all day with her the last two weeks - I am just amazed with her more and more each day. She is turning into such a big girl, and she is so sweet and loving! And also a hambone of course!

So last night was her first official night in her big girl bed in her new big girl room! We have been working on her room all week, trying to make it perfect for our little Sissy. I'm pretty sure she could care less about most of it, but it makes me happy anyways! I will get pictures of the room up as soon as the finishing touches are complete :)

We got the bed all ready yesterday, and she climbed on it playing away and exclaimed, I love it! She was very excited to get to sleep in her "big girl bed." This is her tucked in, "ready to sleep."
It wasn't quite that easy . . . . she decided that she didn't want pillows, and she didn't want to be close to the edge and there was quite a lot of settling down, but eventually she did and this is how I found her when I went to check on her!
She woke up once during the night about 2:30 and she needed to get up for a snack, which is usually not allowed, but she went right back to sleep after that. We are hoping that it continues to get easier for her, but I am still really proud of her!

Sweet little Pumpkin looks so precious in her new bed. Now she has room for a whole zoo of animals that can sleep with her!
