Mimi's Playhouse

Sissy has been having a big time at Mimi and Popi's! There was a loooooong laundry list of things she wanted to do when she first got here, but some of it had to wait until at least the second day! First up on the list for our first morning was playing the piano with Mimi.

Last night, we took her to the Christmas concert at Mimi and Popi's church. I was not convinced that this was a good idea at all, especially since it started at seven (an hour before her bedtime). But, she actually did surprisingly well - we talked to her a lot about how she had to whisper if she needed something and also having pretzles for her to munch on was a plus! Hopefully the peeople sitting in front of us didn't mind too much ;)

(She is very into Mimi's animal collection, especially these teddy bears).
Today she got to go to the gym for open play time and she bounced her little heart out. 95% of her time was spent on the trampoline for sure. She bounced and bounced and bounced!!!She also spent a little bit of time on the rings and the beam.

The biggest hit has probably been play time in the snow yesterday with Mimi that included sledding, but Mama was resting on the couch by the fire, so there is no photographic evidence of this fun! I am thoroughly enjoying getting in some "much needed" rest and relaxation - yesterday I was in my pajamas pretty much until about 4, and I took two naps. Heaven!
