The Finished Product

So I am not sure what happened to the last week? Beyond the craziness of general December/Christmas craziness, I was in DC last week for a training class. It was four nights away from my Sissy and BOY did I miss her! OK, I did get home at close to nine on the fourth night, but I was just so so so excited to see her! That is the longest I have ever been away from her, which is shocking. I am sure if I was on a beach somewhere lounging with my hubby, four nights might pass faster than four nights in freezing Washington DC in a hotel room by myself.

But enough about me. This is the project that Pops and Matt working on all last weekend, and Pops finished up with assistance from Nanny and Mattie on Monday :)

And an extra treat from this weekend, Matt's Mamaw got to stop in with Nanny and Pops for a quick visit to see Sissy. Mattie was super excited to show off her room and all her animals. When they were trying to hit the road, Mattie was alternating between saying, Mamaw is staying here with us and "Nanny, I need you." HA! She knows how to sucker us already!
