Merry Christmas!

We are all set for the big day tomorrow :)
Matt and Sissy had a big game of hide and seek before dinner to get some of her excitement/energy out. Daddy is wearing Papaw's visor with the fake hair - Mattie thought that was more than hilarious.
My parents' church had a great service at 5 for kids and their families. They got to bring a stuffed animal to take up to the nativity for the Christmas story and the service ended with silent night and the kids got to wave glow sticks! The simplicity of it and seeing her wave those glowsticks above her head in the dim church was really touching.
After the service, Mattie wanted to go up and give Baby Jesus a hug and a kiss. She did that and also wanted to put him night night (see below).
She also may or may not have knocked the manger over, which was the funniest thing I have ever seen! But we were too busy cleaning up the hay to get a picture of it.
She picked out one of her gingerbread man cookies to leave for Santa, and one for herself and she is in bed asleep! Hopefully the morning won't start too early. . . .
We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas with their families this year! We are certainly blessed beyond words!!!
