Go Blue, Part Deux

Hello everyone! Matt here, making my first guest author appearance. After 3 years I figured it was time to have a little fun. To all of our loyal readers, please don't hold the following against Ginny!

This past weekend I had the honor of attending the first night game ever at the Big House (aka Michigan Stadium), with the Michigan Wolverines hosting the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The weather was amazing and the 114,804 fans that set an NCAA record were treated to a game that will go down as an absolute classic! After trailing 24-7 entering the 4th qtr, the Wolverines mounted a comeback that included the go ahead touchdown with :02 seconds left, giving the Wolverines the improbable 35-31 victory!

Here is a picture of Andy and my father in-law (aka the Professor) on the field after the game.

After the game, the Gameday crew who had been in Ann Arbor all day interviewed the man of the hour, Denard Robinson.

After the game, the Professor led the marching band as the post game celebrations continued well into the night! Since it was past midnight it was officially Popi's birthday, so the party was just getting started!

Down on the field after the game. . . . I had a record of 0-3 at the Big House before this game so I was glad to be able to finally see a W.

Lastly, I want to thank Mimi for all of the hard work she put in to making this birthday/football/man weekend possible. From all of the great food to the patience of letting three grown men take over her house! Mimi, you are the best! And as the infamous Ranger's Manager Ron Washington would say:

"Mimi Do what Mimi Does"
