I have no idea how I woke up today and it was Christmas Eve already! But it was, and today was a great day and I'm wide awake while everyone else in my house is already dozing, The Christmas Story is on tv and so . . . I might as well post some pics!
Mimi and Popi arrived bright and early this morning. I don't know who was more excited!
We had lots of playtime of course, the girls got Christmas Eve mani/pedis (might be a new tradition), we did some cooking and baking and then off to the family service at church at five. We were rushing of course, so I didn't get any pictures of everyone all dressed up. But trust me, we all looked great ;)
We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner table decorated courtesy of Scribble Linens. In case you haven't heard, this is my dear and amazingly talented friend Sarah's (or Jacob's mom) creation.
I made the Pioneer Woman's lasagna for the second year in a row. It is pretty darn amazing I have to say.
Mattie put her placemat to good use after dinner.
I have never seen a child so excited! She was SO HYPED tonight and I loved it.
